Spring has sprung! (Or at least it’s trying to here in the midwest.) And we know what Spring means – it’s time for houses to go on the market! Last year I wrote a series of home staging tips so you can get the best price for your house. I broke each post down by space and included practical, not over the top suggestions that anyone can do. Since it’s that time of year again I thought I’d put all of the home staging posts in one handy compilation so that it would be an easy resource.
There are very little things you can control over the sale of your home. Your home price will be based on location, condition, and market. You can’t control the location or the market but you can have some control over the condition of your home. Home staging is simply the process of removing distractions buyers might see and increasing the perceived value of your home. This is not hard to do but it will take some forethought and a some work.
So without further adu, here are all of my home staging tips you need to know so your home sells fast and for top dollar:
- What is Home Staging & Should I Do It
- How to Add Curb Appeal for a Quick Home Sale
- 4 Easy Tips for Staging Your Kitchen to Sell Your Home Fast
- How to Sell Your Home Fast: Bedrooms & Bathrooms
See what a different staging can make?!
I just also want to add in this little plug for my friends and award-winning realtors at the Engle Home Team. Joy and Donny are an awesome team here in the Kansas City area. We have used them for buying and selling and have recommended them to numerous friends and family. They get nothing but rave reviews from us!
I am in the process of publishing a downloadable home staging e-book that I can’t wait to get into everyone hands! It will be packed full of all the above information AND MORE, all in a handy dandy downloadable, printable format. I wish I would have had that resource when we were selling! Until the e-book drops (hopefully SOON!) check out all of the above links for great, practical steps you can start working on today. Happy selling friends!
