The last few years I’ve started decorating our master bedroom for Christmas. This year it was the first to get the treatment and I find it really is such a cozy spot to relax and curl up in at the end of the day (and wake up to first thing!). I used most of the same things this year as I did last year but tweaked a few different spots. You can see the full Christmas Master Bedroom decor tour from last year here.
For someone who is always cold flannel sheets are heaven sent in the winter months! These red and white sheets are so perfect against our green walls and although I had initially debated if the duvet would be too much, I’m so glad I snatched it up and added in with our Christmas bedding for the master bedroom – it really is the perfect addition!
Over the summer I changed the frames around the TV. I love the arrangement but I have yet to swap the artwork, haha. Can I chalk that up to 2020 too???? Forgive the two huge frames that currently have nothing in them, one of these days I’m going to decide on what pictures to add into them.
The equestrian wingback chairs continue to be an unexplained soul-love of mine. When they are decked out for Christmas I CANNOT get enough of how absolutely perfect they are in here.
Nothing tugs at my heart strings more than a perfectly appointed vintage touch (did you see Santa & Mrs. Claus in the basement?!) and these chalk ware pieces that I inherited from my great-grandmother are a personal favorite of mine. I have 4 of these pixies and they are such a whimsical touch dancing across the bookcase mantle intermixed with the garland. You may also see that when it comes to garland my motto is more is more. More sparkle! More ribbon! The bigger the better!
Hands down one of my favorite Christmas displays this year is my dresser adorned with these red taper candles in mixed brass candle holders. A collection always makes the biggest impact when you group them together and these red candles do not disappoint. I found a giant box of mixed colored candles at an estate sale for $10. My friends thought I was crazy until they’ve seen all of the awesome tapers I’ve ended up using this year! Hands down one of the best finds I’ve scored in a while 🙂
Do you add Christmas master bedroom decor? I love sprinkling the holiday all throughout my house! It not only keeps me in the Christmas bubble but gives me the opportunity to use different color schemes in the various spaces. I don’t use red anywhere else but in my green bedroom – which is the PERFECT spot for a red and green Christmas master bedroom! Merry Christmas friends!
